GotGames.com.au is happy to announce the return of the GotGames Counter-Strike:Source one day competition.

The competition will be a 32 team open competition, held on Sunday, the 13th of December. Registrations will be opening 30 November at 8:00pm AEDT. Registrations will close on the 12th of December, although registrations will most likely be full before that date.

There is no entry free for this competition, thus no prize money. The sole purpose of the one day competition is to give teams an opportunity to prove themselves worthy of a GGCEVO invite and give other teams a chance to become familiar with the CEVO system ALL matches will make use of the CEVO CMN anti-cheat system.

The first 32 teams with 5 ready players (on the ready roster with SteamID set in CEVO settings) will get a spot. There will be 8 groups of 4 teams; the top two teams of each group will consequently progress into single elimination finals.

Date of competition: Sunday, the 13th of December.

Date of opening registration: Monday, 30th of November, 8pm AEST

Date of closing registration: Saturday 12th of December, 8pm AEST

Note
: Registrations will be open until the day before the event but may fill up prior to this date.

Round 1 matches will commence at 10:00am AEDT, and a representitive from each team will be required to be on GGLIVE in the #odc channel by 9:45am AEDT.

Round 1 match details will be provided in the match scheduling thread on CEVO, but details for matches in consequent rounds will be provided through GGLIVE.

How To Register:
All players will need to have a personal CEVO user account to participate in CEVO events. If you do not already have one, click "register now" under the CEVO Members section of the www.cevo.com homepage and follow the instructions.

Team Captains:
The Team Captain or Manager is responsible for registering their team for the event. To sign your current team up for this event, login to your personal user account then go to "teams"->"view my teams" (or click "Manage My Teams" on the main account page). Click on the "manage" link corresponding to your team and then click "Sign Team Up for a CEVO Event".

If you are a Team Captain needing to create a team, login to your personal user account then go to "teams"->"create a team" (or click "Create a Team" on the main account page). You MUST specify a roster join password, otherwise you will get an error. You must pass this roster join password to team players so they can join your roster.

Once the team is created/registered for the event, each team member may join the roster by logging into their personal user account on the website and clicking "Join A Roster".

Team Players:
In order to join a roster, your team captain must have already registered your team for this event. Once that is done, to join the roster, login to your personal user account and click "teams"->"Join a Roster" (or simply click "Join a Roster" on the main account page).

On the Join Roster page, choose this event from the drop-down menu, then type all or part of the team name and click "Find Team". When the search finishes, click the "join" button corresponding to your team. You must then enter the roster join password that your team captain has specified, you cannot join without this.

NOTE: Teams will not be placed in the ready group until they have 5 player registered players with steamids set, no exceptions. The first 32 teams to sign and ready up will be entered into the competition.
